Kryptonytt Norge

About Kryptonytt Norge

Kryptonytt Norge gathers Norwegian news about bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrency in one place, and uses the stories to build an overview of who’s who in Norwegian crypto.

Who is behind it

The site is run by Jørgen S. Notland (jQrgen), a developer in Oslo. He works on the Nexa blockchain at Bitcoin Unlimited, so stories about Nexa are assessed with that in mind. The work is done with help from artificial intelligence.

Editorial team

Nothing is published automatically. Every story and every entry goes through the editor first.

How we work

Languages

Nynorsk is the site’s main language, and everything is also available in Bokmål and English. We write the summaries and page text ourselves in all three languages; headlines and quotes from the sources appear as in the original, so most of them are in Norwegian. Some research descriptions (org chart, Academia) are only available in Norwegian for now.

Kaupr sponsors Kryptonytt and is one of our sources. Some organisations in the industry map come from Kaupr’s Onchain Pages. Each one was checked against the company’s own website or public registers (Brønnøysund, ESMA) before being included, and Kaupr is credited as a source. The sponsor has no editorial control.

No investment advice

Kryptonytt Norge is a news overview. Nothing here is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell, or an assessment of any company or crypto-asset. Crypto-assets can swing sharply in value, and you can lose everything you invest.
